Illumination. The point where I’m totally surprised by the accomplishment of something. I like the whole process of making art. It’s tasty! And manufactured objects. I like to find interesting objects and play with them. There are no special materials that I prefer to work with.

Ideas and themes in your work
A matter of circumstances. I have no obsession with typical subjects; I just do the first things that come to my mind. It’s about how I’m traveling through time and space. It’s also about digital inclusion in art. Digital space — that’s a good question for me. It’s a question of power.
I was born in Clermont and finished my education. After that, I went to art school. I tried everything there, liked all of it, and gained experience while learning. My first drawing was something I created in childhood. After that, I felt like I wanted to become an artist.

What makes art successful?
Impact. The message of art. What does an artist’s work hold: light, message, information? How can it be impactful? This is the main question of its value. Space (gallery) is also very important for art. It is the reality. Art can be seen everywhere, like on the street or in a church. All of it can either hold value or not.
I like everything I do. I don’t think it’s a big deal. Maybe it depends on time and space, as I said. It’s about space; maybe the work is not good, but it occupies space. The work turns out to be good depending on the people outside. I give my attention, and that’s all. My first work is more important because it was my first.
Which of your works is the most significant?
— I like the whole process of making art. It's tasty!
If your art were a music track, what would it be?
The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi.
Parc Lecoq. It’s inspiring, there are ducks and trees. You can catch inspiration if you go there, but I never do that. And of course the cathedral.
What places in Clermont inspire you the most?
